The Tummy Team Splinting Guidelines

We include guidance in the proper use of splinting in every Tummy Team course but sometimes people want to know ahead of time how we will be using the splint throughout their rehab process. Here are some clear guidelines for splinting use throughout the rehab process.

Make it functional

Adjust your splint throughout the day. Our splints will move as you move. It is not a body cast. As it moves with your body, you will occasionally need to adjust it to keep it in the correct position and sometimes you may need to take it off and reposition it all together. Yes, that can be annoying but it is temporary and we want you to be able to move so just check in and adjust it periodically as needed so you get the best out of your splint.
