Exhale and Engage on the Effort

Using the belly breath and TA activation in your everyday life is where the big changes happen. This takes some intentional practice to master but is absolutely worth it. The biggest mistake we see is in the timing. It is common to exhale, engage and then do the challenging activity but that tends to make us brace and hold our breath on the effort. Instead, think about timing the exhale and engage WHILE doing the work. You may need to exaggerate your shhhh or really think it through at first but this will make all the difference.
