Diastasis Recti and Postpartum Recovery

The combination of the pregnancy stretching, straining during delivery and all consuming newborn parenting postures are a recipe for diastasis recti in the postpartum body. However, working on functional core strength, optimal alignment, labor and delivery strategies and baby care plan can reverse diastasis and help you fully heal and be strong for all the joys and challenges of motherhood. It starts with being able to check your own tummy for a diastasis and then becoming aware of the ways you can support your core and help it heal.
