A cystocele is when the bladder has fallen into the vaginal canal. This can cause several bladder issues as well as pain and discomfort. Often surgery is said to be the only solution but that is not necessarily the case. When we know how to minimize the causes and can systematically retrain the body to better support that vaginal canal, this type of prolapse does respond to rehab. This lesson will give you some tools to get started.

Shift and pee. Often an unsupported bladder can impact your ability to pee effectively. Retaining urine puts you at risk for UTI. Shifting your weight side to side, forward and back and even in a circle can help shift the bladder and fully empty it each time.
