Connection to your core helps you to calm your nervous system in overwhelming seasons and helps you recruit abdominal muscle strength in seasons of physical challenge. Often, we don't really like to touch our tummy. We may feel like it has failed us or that it's not beautiful or we may simply feel weak and disconnected. But physical touch is essential to healing. It promotes blood flow, it normalizes the sensory feedback system and it provides support and connection. It is simply impossible to fully heal something you cannot feel.

Even though is might feel hard at first, commit to massaging your tummy every day to reinforce the core connection you need for the everyday demands of  life.
