The Zipper

The deep core muscles do not have a lot of movement and initially activation can feel a bit obscure. At The Tummy Team we use a lot of analogies and visualizations to help clients find that deep connection. One of our most effective visualization techniques is imaging a zipper and on the exhale zipping up a snug pair of jeans. But we can actually extend this zipper visualization to go all the way up to the sternum and help you connect to the lower, middle and upper portions of your transverse. This lesson will show you how.
