5-7-3 Pattern

In addition to activating your transverse, a long intentional exhale also calms your nervous system, decreases stress and promotes healing. This lesson will teach you a calming 5-7-3 breathing pattern that will really extend the exhale portion of the breath. I love this one at the end of a long day or when I am struggling with extra stress. It can be incredibly soothing and grounding. Let's see what you think.

Take your time. Using your breath as a way to reset your emotions or calm your system is incredibly effective. Simply taking 1-3 minutes to slow down and practice this 5-7-3 pattern at least one time a day can really improve your physical and emotional capacity.
