Functional Core, Week 2: Deeper Connection

Welcome to Week 2.  This week we are going to explore the connection to your core at a deeper level.  We will give you strategies to help wake up those deep core muscles by increasing blood flow, nerve innervation and sensory feedback.  Being able to feel and connect to the upper, middle and lower portions of the transverse abdominis will help you integrate the full core into the daily demands of life.

    Deeper Connection

    Disconnect is the number one obstacle that our clients struggle with.  It is impossible to fully activate a muscle you cannot feel.  Lack of connection can also create bracing compensation patterns that can really sabotage your core activation effectiveness. We will give you a series of massage, breathing and splinting strategies to help you improve your connection to your core then work on integrating that connection into more of your daily movement patterns.
