Avoid Pushing Out on Your Tummy

This makes sense when we think about it. If we want our core to flatten and pull around us to stabilize us then doing repetitive exercises that push out on the tummy does not seem like the best course of action. Yet many core related exercises do just that. This lesson explains how core smart fitness encourages a different way to work the core.

Make some changes. Awareness is the first step. Start paying attention to when you are pushing out on your tummy. It could be from the posture you are in, how you are breathing or times you are holding your breath. When you notice it, make the change to see if you can eliminate that forward forceful pressure.
